I have never been to the Heritage at night and what a delight. Mexican cuisine was so delicious. Also the new garden area was so cute to sit in.

One star for the gorgeous building and another for the cute decor. Really impressive look.
Unfortunately my order was completely lost, as many people who ordered after me got their meals. My friend who ordered after i did got her food and drink while i sat and waited.
I had to ask for my meal. Then another long wait and was given the wrong meal. Start again. Then i had to ask for my dessert.
My food was ok, but i don’t think the protein was included in my smoothie. My friend did not finish her muffin as it was too dry.
This was a painful first impression.
Even standing at counter it takes a long time to even be acknowledged.
Maybe you need more staff if you can’t take care of the basics.

What a great little cafe, friendly staff, wonderful food. The Veggie Haloumi stack with mushrooms is exceptional and the flavours superb. The coffee is good and sitting on the outside tables watching the morning unfold is a wonderful start to the day

Friendly service with a smile, and a great tasting, generously sized, Reuben sandwich. The chai was also good. Reasonably priced too. Menu is limited but there appears to be something for everyone. … More

Awful experience. Once you’re outside the CBD or away from high-traffic cafés, the service becomes painfully slow. Waiting over 25 minutes for just two coffees is unacceptable. Complete joke — won’t be coming back.

Heritage Café in Malabar is a pretty solid local spot if you’re after a straightforward, no-fuss coffee experience. It’s conveniently located, easy to duck into, and the first service was warm and friendly — the kind of greeting that makes you feel like you’ve wandered into a neighbourhood favourite.
The coffee itself was decent. Nothing mind-blowing, nothing disappointing — just a reliably good cup that does the job. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want: a place where you know what you’re getting, without any surprises, good or bad.
The space has a relaxed feel, which suits the area well. It’s the kind of café you drop by on a morning walk, or when you’re catching up with a friend and want somewhere simple, calm, and consistent.
If you’re looking for a specialty-coffee, next-level-beans, out-of-this-world brunch experience, this probably won’t be your go-to. But if you want a dependable cup and handy location, Heritage Café delivers exactly that.
Overall, a decent local café that fills its role well. I wouldn’t travel across town for it, but if you’re in the area, it’s a convenient and pleasant stop.

Visited with friends for the Mexican pop-up!. The food was exceptional, having recently been to Miami, the Cuban Sandwich is as good as anything I've tasted. Burrito and Poppers were amazing as well! See you next week 😉 …

Great Cafe!
Ambience: The staff here were friendly. Casual, beach vibes with low levels of music comfortably playing in the background. A steady stream of locals coming in for lunch and coffee.
Coffee: WHITE HORSE COFFEE - White Knight Signature blend: Fruity and smooth. Was professionally made by an experienced barista.
Food: I ordered the The Veggie Stack see photos. All ingredients were fresh and artistically assembled. The combination of the seasoning, balsamic glaze, pesto and haloumi made it too salty for my liking. Asking for the pesto on the side might help.
If I am in the area, I will be back!

The Heritage Kitchen Garden is a relaxing brunch oasis. The outside area has herbs, pot plants and even flowers for your table. They did amazing scrambled eggs and giant mushrooms. The Power bowl with added roasted chicken was nice, but they could do with a few more salad options on their menu. Food was slow coming out but worth the wait.

Very cute and cosy spot that we accidentally found. We had a beautiful breakfast. Check out the specials as they’re not on the menu.
I personally found the menu limited but looking at the kitchen size it makes sense.
The food was very tasty, good portion and looked pretty! Coffee was good!
Staff was kind; the interior has a cottage look&feel. It gets full very quickly but you can also sit outside.

Food was delicious, very chilled vibes, small seated area inside but loads of outside tables. Smallish menu but has the classics & a few nice alternatives, plus a specials board. Today was the first time we've tried for food, rather than just coffee, would definitely recommend.

Nice Cafe, small but lots of out door tables to enjoy natural sunlight.
The food is tasteful and menu is simple but effective.
The coffee is robust and flavourful and food is tasteful and creative use of ingredients.
The service is the only query, staff aren’t rude but aren’t helpful or create a nice atmosphere.
Overall a good experience with nice coffee and food.
I recommend the veggie Stack , the pesto sauce was the hero of the dish.
